Nice ive been trying to do this for a while. Been having an endless debate in my head about the v6 1le versus the ss 1le ... is it really really worth the extra $. My minds telling me no, but my body ... my body ..

The SS I configured in the picture ending up being about $47k. I haven’t done one with the 6 yet. May have to go back and do it to see what the price difference is.

I do like the blue, but yeah that is a bummer.

Chevy blue is one of the better ones. Nice and bold but not loud and over bearing

This is how I spent my last half hour at work. Plain Jane baby. For the $43k though.. Give me a lightly used Z28.

Tempting as that is, I can’t handle a $16k dollar brake job.

YUS! Now if only I could afford one. Or actually fit my children in the back seat.

I’m more scared of good tires than brakes. I won’t be tracking too much so the carbons will last a loooooong time. Even so, you can find find rotors for about a grand each. Not cheap, but not ungodly expensive over the course of a few years. Beyond consumables, the rest of the car should be dead nuts reliabe, stupid simple to wrench on and very cheap to fix.

That’s about the same as a decent used car. Insane.

Glad I could give you something to do haha. That’s still not bad considering a 2SS can get over $50k with options.

Yeah, kids add a whole new issue. That will eventually become a problem with my car.

It’s truly unbelievable how much space a modern car seat takes. Especially when they’re forward facing, which you’re now supposed to leave them in for two years.

Thankfully the youngest only needs a booster seat, but she was still in a car seat when my wife and I first met so I know what you mean.

We just turned my youngest forward facing. That was a good day!
